Lane Cove Tunnel will be closed for scheduled routine night time maintenance during June as follows:
West bound:
10 p.m. Monday 15 June to 5 a.m. Tuesday 16 June;
10 p.m. Tuesday 16 June to 5 a.m. Wednesday 17 June;
10 p.m. Wednesday 17 June to 5 a.m. Thursday 18 June &
10 p.m. Thursday 18 June to 5 a.m. Friday 19 June
East bound:
10 p.m.Monday 22 June to 5.am. Tuesday 23 June;
10 p.m. Tuesday 23 June to 5 a.m. Wednesday 24 June;
10 p.m. Wednesday 24 June to 5 a.m. Thursday 25 June &
10 p.m. Thursday 25 June to 5.am. Friday 26 June
Planned night time maintenance activities are carried out to ensure the long-term continued operation of the tunnel and its operating systems. These closures are part of our ongoing commitment to safety.
The closure times have been planned to minimise any inconvenience to motorists.
To advise motorists, there will be surface road signage on Epping Road, Pacific Highway, Gore Hill Freeway, M2 and other access roads.
As the Lane Cove Tunnel is part of the wider road network, the closure of the tunnel will result in additional surface road use.
To avoid the tunnel, motorists travelling toward the CBD on the M2 Motorway will be diverted on to Epping Road. If travelling westbound on the Gore Hill Freeway follow the signs to Longueville Road then to Epping Road.
The next scheduled routine night time maintenance closure of the tunnel in both directions will be
