Formerly the Falcon Street Gateway, the tolled Military Road E-Ramps link
The name change follows motorist and community consultations launched by Connector Motorways, owner and operator of the Lane Cove Tunnel and Military Road E-Ramps earlier this year.
“After reviewing motorists’ feedback, driving behaviour and signage in the area as well as taking a close look at the origin and destinations of the ramps’ traffic it was clear that motorists and the community better identified

“By-passing 19 sets of traffic every day is a big chunk of time and more and more motorists are using the Military Road E-Ramps every month.
“To celebrate its new name, the Military Road E-Ramps will be toll free on Saturday, 19 September to let weekend motorists experience the time savings on the weekend that are just as significant as those during the weekday peak hours,” Mr Hunt said.
Connector Motorways has launched a driver education campaign to alert motorists to the name change.
The term ‘E-Ramp’ was selected to overcome a small incidence of motorist confusion regarding the charging of a toll. ‘E’ is a common device used on
